JOSIE FONSECA was born in Sinton, Texas. Now a full-time mom, Josie learned to make confetti eggs as a young girl. She also enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and baking. Josie lives in Kingwood, Texas, with her husband, their two children, and their pets, a dog, a turtle, and a fish.

MARY CAPPELLINI was born in Los Angeles, California. She is an educational consultant specializing in teacher training and staff development. Mary has written, photographed, and translated many childrens books, including IN THE MOUNTAINS, I PLAY SOCCER and FISH PRINT for Bebop Books. Mary lives in Newport Beach, California, with her husband, their three daughters, and their pet rabbit Blanco.
