LUCY MALKA was born in New York City, where she currently works as a Literacy Staff Developer in the Bronx. This is Lucy’s second book for beginning readers, and she was inspired to write this story after watching her grandson in the bathtub. Lucy lives in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, with her husband.




RENÉ KING MORENO was born in North Carolina. She studied fine art at the Rhode Island School of Design. She is the illustrator of UNDER THE LEMON MOON, a LEE & LOW award-winning book. René lives with her husband in California.
