LAURA E. WILLIAMS was born in Seoul, Korea, and was adopted by an American family when she was 18 months old. Since then she has lived and traveled all over the world. Laura has written over 30 children’s books, including including Bebop Books’ MOM IS A PAINTER, ON OUR FARM and THE BEST THING, of which she also photographed.. In addition to writing, Laura teaches social studies at a middle school. She and the models for this book enjoyed spending a busy day in New York City’s Chinatown taking pictures. Laura lives in West Hartford, Connecticut.
