JOSIE FONSECA was born in Sinton, Texas. After a career as a respiratory therapist, Josie became a full-time mom and writer. Her children’s books include Bebop Books’ CONFETTI EGGS which she co-authored with Dani Sneed. Josie enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and baking. She lives in Kingwood, Texas, with her husband, their two children, and three pets, which include a dog, a turtle, and a fish.

DANI SNEED was born in Bloomington, Indiana, and she earned a degree in chemical science at the University of Oklahoma. Now a part-time writer and substitute teacher, she enjoys sharing her science knowledge with kids. Dani lives in Humble, Texas, with her husband, their three children, a dog, a bird, and two gerbils. Sneed also provided the photographs for PUNCHED PAPER.

DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment) The DRA levels were determined using information in the Developmental Reading Assessment Resource Guide by Joetta Beaver (Celebration Press).

All level placements may vary and are subject to revision. Teachers may adjust the assigned levels in accordance with their own evaluations.
