Mary has written many books in English and Spanish for educational publishing companies. She also loves to take photographs. Mary lives in Newport Beach, California, with her husband, their three daughters, and their pet rabbit Blanco. GEORGE CRESPO grew up in Puerto Rico. He teaches art to middle school and high school students and has illustrated several childrens books. The girl in this book was modeled after his daughter who played soccer when she was younger. George likes to present shadow puppet plays in his spare time. He lives in Yonkers, New York, with his turtle Desiree.
